No matter what game you play, you’re going to encounter infuriating strategies that can potentially ruin your experience. But when did we start calling these cheap and annoying tactics “cheese”? The answer lies in 1992, a game that involves a urinating prehistoric ape, and of course, ballsy Korean Starcraft 2 players.

How can you talk about cheese AND StarCraft without mentioning 4 pool? Cheese was a very commonly used term on bnet many years before SC2.

wow,…… so its not just facebook huh,………
I define cheese as cheap, cheeky, and easily abusable strategies- I think there's so much more cheese you could've shown in Dota, and the most famous cheese back in Frozen Throne days here was the Huskar + Dazzle combo. That's why it was such a huge hype for Filipinos when TNC last picked Huskar against OG back then
When i was younger my friend and I would play playstation 1 games. I shared bomberman world, we'd play nascar, but turn around and watch the cars run into eachother. On the wrestling game i would get outside the ring and run from, I also yelled cheese a lot. Now i realize i had been possessed but didn't know the background of cheesing.
You are telling russians that "RUSH B DON'T STOP!!!" is just cheese?

Gamers must be honorable

RTS? tower rush

fighting games? fast hard to punish chip spam
so why even bother playing empty shells of games nowadays? idk man idk

Cheese = finding a strategy being good at something with no effort or skill
Go cry to mommy that your opponent was trying to win.
Strategies are either hard or easy to beat. But if it's just too hard, than it's just stratecheese
fun thing is overwatch needs much less thinking than league
AFAIK, we call that "gimmicks" or "Spamming" in fighting games. It won't get you far.
