A playthrough of Nintendo’s 1987 NES game, Pro Wrestling.
Played through as Star Man with no loses.
A late-release black box original, Nintendo’s first foray into the world of wrestling is a smashing success. Released for the Famicom Disk System, the NES, and the Playchoice 10, Pro Wrestling made the rounds when it was released, and rightly so. It’s amazing how many elements it nailed down for the games to come, and it’s quality is typical of what you’d expect as a first-party Nintendo game. They pack a lot into just two buttons, that’s for sure.

I first played this when I was like 9 or some shit. You used to be able to "rent" a Nintendo or VCR from the local grocery store. As buying a Nintendo was a complete waste of time in my parents eyes back then.
Turn the turbo button off and try the game.
Why does this game use the same crowd cheering sound as punch out
Man I used to whop the hell out my patna with this game. stamen was my dude
When your oponement lays there on the ground and you climb up on the edge of the ring, just to fly down to crash on to your enemy.
Can some one please explain that body position, because to me it looks like he's flexing with his arm while flying down. XD
This Game > WWE 2K20
the greatest wrestling game ever!
I loved this game as a kid! Star Man was my guy, and I discovered that constantly doing his cartwheel attack was as effective as playing strategically, so I did that for the entire run one day and won the game.
Memories!!
Love it!
Loved this game
There's something about king slender that reminds me of space mountain! Hmmmmmmmm……..
how good memories..
I wonder if blanka from street fighter 2 was inspired by the amazon.
I was in the crowd
A Winner Is You
A winner is you
Star man can run and do the Chop without tying up, I loved the Back Brain Kick by Fighter Hayabusa, it took almost as much away from the opponent as the back breaker!
Pro Wrestling was actually made by Human Entertainment who would later do the Fire Pro Wrestling series.
Star Man for smash. We can have star Man as a fighter and assist trophy and an item.
Just imagine the victory. He would say a winner is You
The title theme's the same as Baseball.
Dude you suck , same move over and over again
I would smash your ass in this game .
King Slender was the man, nobody could beat me with him . This game and double dribble , I was untouchable.
I remember cutting lawns all summer to save up for nes and a game. This game was one of many awesome title in the late 80’s. Commando, SMB, Zelda, Ghost N Goblins, kung fu
I love how they dont even know where starmans from, i can imagen him just showing up out of no-where and hes too strong for anyone to kick him out
WOWZERZ! This takes me waaaaaaaaaay back. King Slender & The Amazon was my guys. I was 13. Ahh the memories.
Amazon is my favorite, no one can me with him,not even a chance……;)
If you listen closely, the music sounds like the theme song to Airwolf
Man, what memories this brings back! When the music started playing on the character screen I hummed it to myself exactly how it sounds. And I haven't seen the game played in decades.
I can remember peeking my head in my son's room and hearing that music.
Isn't the opening tune the same for Excite Bike?
I played this a lot as a kid.
Loved this damn game. Stayed up 4 in the morning many nights as a kid!
Aye the music when u actually in the ring is epic..lol..I always had it in my head..even to this day
I did this in 1987… KS
Love the music. Memories.
I can't believe I finally found this game! I used to play this game with my sister when I was a kid. Such good memories 😊
21:01 Wtf was that?
I miss when video games were simple like this the only thing they added to games that I wouldn't mind having is how you can pick up where you left off if you had to stop playing. It sucked back then when your mom told you to turn the game off when you have gotten so far 😂
Too bad you didn't beat any of them by pinfall. I remember playing through as Fighter Hayabusa, just hit them with as many brain kicks as you can, mixing in a few belly-to-back suplexes, then start with the brain-busters and piledrivers until you get the pin.
Nostalgia…never chose that Pink dude. I don't select motherfuckers who are pink.
great wrestling game💪
